MetroSperm® Semen Concentration Analysis System

The MetroSperm® is a handheld, direct read spectrophotometer for measuring boar semen concentration and temperature to aid in ejaculate processing and dose calculations.

Semen concentration and temperature are calculated quickly and accurately.  The sensor is dipped directly into the sample and measures the opacity – which is measured at a variety of different light levels to acheive an average concentration.

The MetroSperm® only requires the easy to clean probe be immersed directly into the ejaculate rather than out-of-date methods of dilution and transfer – making it much faster to get more accurate results.
